In early 2017 the Gold Coast Catchment Association offered Rosalinde part-time work to enhance their website. They soon discovered her passion for the environment, prodigious work ethic and her excellent technical skills. She ultimately took over the management of their long running PlatypusWatch program and fledgling WaterWatch and WaterBug programs, as well as inheriting the SeaGrass program from another group. Rose also managed two of our largest events, the Catchment Crawl and the GC’s Biggest Tree Planting. All of these programs and events grew significantly under Rose’s management which led to a 100% increase in funding.
