2021 ACM Landcare Community Group Award – WA
Katanning Landcare
“It’s a proud moment for us, and humbling, to be recognised by our peers for the efforts and hard work of our group, which has been tackling a wide range of environmental issues for the last 32 years. From erosion, to salinity, to revegetation and habitat protection, to waste reduction and behaviour change, our team of volunteers are dedicated to making the world a better place to live. This award is an opportunity to celebrate how far we’ve come and the impact we’ve made and will energise us to keep putting in the effort.” Andrea Salmond, Executive Officer, Katanning Landcare and WA Australian Community Media Landcare Community Group Award Finalist.
