South Pole is a trusted carbon project developer in Australia, with experience developing over 100 local projects under the Emission Reduction Fund. Globally, South Pole has provided nearly 1,000 projects in 50+ countries with climate finance to reduce over a gigaton of CO2 emissions since 2006.
South Pole develops projects on behalf of landowners Australia-wide, under a range of technologies such as Human Induced Regeneration, Reforestation by Environmental and Mallee Plantings, Afforestation and Deforestation, Soil Carbon, Savanna Burning and Beef Cattle Herd Management.
The South Pole team works closely with local communities, farmers and Traditional Owners to sensitively restore landscapes, protect biodiversity and create social benefits. South Pole also partners with Landcare NSW to develop climate action projects across New South.
