Kersbrook Landcare Group (KLG)

Kersbrook Landcare Group (KLG) was formed over 20 years ago by a group of local residents concerned about agricultural and environmental issues in the Kersbrook region in the northern Adelaide Hills. Kersbrook Landcare Group, currently with a membership of about 30, aims to encourage and promote community interest in valuing, protecting and enhancing biodiversity within the region. It provides information, support and plants to the local community. The Group’s main current projects are their 2017 book ‘Focus on Flora: Native Plants of the Adelaide Hills & Barossa’, and the Kersbrook Landcare Nursery (KLN) which grows a variety of about 300 different local plant species as tubestock for small and large revegetation projects and gardens throughout the region. KLG also helps to care for two bushcare sites near Kersbrook and has a strong interest in the management of Hale Conservation Park near Williamstown. KLG is a great asset to the northern Adelaide Hills.
