Rosny mob – Rosny College Indigenous Students

Rosny College is a year 11/12 public college, of approximately 1100 students. It is located on Hobart’s Eastern Shore, on the Traditional country of the Moomaremener people. The group ‘Rosny mob’ is the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cohort of our student body. On average, 10% of students at the College make up this group in its entirety; 20 – 25 are closely involved with activities. The group ranges from students who have strong community cultural connections to those who are taking their first steps towards cultural learning. The students who participate regularly in Rosny mob activities have a desire to learn about their heritage and how they can create and grow cultural connection, to country and people.
