Habitat Innovation & Management

The Modular Nest Box system has been designed by Australian Ecologists, manufactured in regional NSW and used to enhance habitat on many Landcare projects. From local reserves to farmlands and as part of small district and regional scale projects. Scientifically designed to support our hollow-dependent native wildlife they are an effective solution for mitigating the loss of tree hollows, whether that be from clearing or bushfire.

We believe in making a positive impact with like-minded individuals. Our commitment to long-term solutions is why we developed our Habitat Nest Boxes, the only science based artificial habitats proven answer to Australia’s hollow crisis.

Wheen Bee Foundation

The Wheen Bee Foundation is an Australian not-for-profit charity dedicated to raising awareness of the vital role bees play in food security. It also funds research to address national and global threats to bee populations. The Foundation engages with all levels of government, the apiculture industry, bee-reliant food industries, universities, research organisations and community.

The Foundation leads two key programs to mitigate these risks:

The Australian Pollination Strategy brings together representatives from all sectors impacted by pollination to create an informed, strategic and coordinated approach to Australia’s pollination supply.
The Bee Friendly Farming is a popular certification program that helps farmers and land managers protect pollinator health.
